Position Overview
The Program Directors Assistant will assist the Program Director with the daily operation of the afterschool program. This role encompasses administrative duties data entry and compliance monitoring. This is an ideal position for a candidate who has excellent demonstrated abilities in knowledge management document retention communications and systems design especially in a fastpaced dynamic environment.
Alongside the Program Director Assistant Directors provide handson leadership and direction for afterschool staff engage in direct supervision of children and collaborate with afterschool teachers to develop ageappropriate curriculum activities and projects across a range of areas including sports arts academic enrichment and leadership. Daily job duties are divided between administrative responsibilities and onsite supervision of afterschool programming.

Compensation and Benefits:
This is a PartTime position and offers a competitive rate of $23 per hour. Salaries are determined using an equitable compensation scale that accounts for years of experience relevant to the role and longevity within the KIPP network.

This role is based in NYC and will require travel to our schools. If you relocate outside of a commutable distance or out of the state of NY your employment will be subject to review which may include separation from KIPP NYC.
