Job Description
Longhorn Energy & Transportation is looking for drivers NO SAP
Solo Company Driver Information (W2)
$0.60 per mile for Reefer.

Gross Pay
$1350 $1500 average Gross Pay per week per driver (based onmiles per week)
$1800 at 3000 miles per week
$2100 at 3500 miles per week
Each load averagesmiles
BreakDown Pay $100/day (if the breakdown lasts 8 hours)
Detention Pay $15/hour after 3 hours up to 8 hours (only if specific appointment vs. first come first serve)
Layover Pay $100 (if Detention reaches 8 hours).
Health Benefits
Qualify after 90 days of employment
50% of premiums paid by the employer initially
Up to 80% of premiums paid by the employer at the 1year mark
Optional: Driver Legal Plan $2.98 per week (Highly Recommended).
Optional: Operational Escrow (Highly Recommended) "Savings Account" to provide driver with consistent paycheck during vacations or other situations. Weekly contribution amount is up to driver.
Bonus Opportunities
Safety Bonuses for Clean DOT Inspections:
Level 1: $300
Level 2: $200
Level 3: $100
Monthly Bonus Structure: (upto $600/month)
MPG 7: $200
OnTime PickUp and Delivery (95%): $200
Safety Score (95%) with No Accidents and No Bad DOT Inspections: $200
Evaluations and Raise Opportunities
90 Days: $0.02/mile increase
1 Year: Additional $0.02/mile increase
Each Year After: $0.01/mile increase
Responsibilities
- Operate and drive trucks to transport goods and materials
- Manage load planning and dispatching for efficient delivery
- Maintain accurate records of mileage fuel use and repairs
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on the vehicle
- Handle cargo liability insurance and trailer rent documentation
- Manage financial responsibilities including weekly payments and escrow accounts
- Document maintenance performed outside of company facilities
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and administrative support
- Participate in optional plans for operational escrow and legal support
- Drive and operate heavy trucks to transport goods and materials
- Perform pre and post trip inspections and ensure the vehicle is in good working condition
- Maintain accurate records of delivery schedules vehicle maintenance and mileage
- Observe all traffic regulations and safety precautions
- Communicate with dispatchers customers and team members to ensure timely delivery of goods
- Plan routes and monitor road conditions
- Adhere to company policies and procedures
