Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detailoriented individual to join our team to support Supply Chain and Production by ensuring that physical stock levels match system records through monthly cycle count activities.
In this role you will conduct routine counts of selected items daily or weekly to ensure no discrepancies between system data and physical stock. You will identify and report variances between the electronic inventory system and actual counts which may involve collaboration with other departments. Accurate data entry is crucial as you will update inventory systems with precise counts to ensure realtime data accuracy. You will also participate in internal and external inventory audits ensuring items are available for verification. Additionally you will assist in determining root causes for discrepancies and suggest corrective actions working closely with warehouse staff and management to optimize inventory processes.

Qualifications :
Essential
- Be computer literate with a good understanding of maths
- Good standard of general education
Desirable
- Competent user of Microsoft i.e. Excel Word Outlook etc
- Full understanding of the different methods of stock transactions
- Experience with using handheld terminals within a warehouse
- Experience in root cause corrective action and 5 whys

- Prepared to report in an unbiased and complete way (i.e. some errors will be caused by specific individuals these must be dealt with in an appropriate way)
- Accurate/precise way of working
- Confident in nature and able to clearly communicate opinions
