Web Merchandiser

The Role:

11month contract

Reporting to the Manager ECommerce the Web Merchandiser is accountable for the development and execution of the online product strategies. You accomplish this by creating a compelling digital store experience to include inspirational merchandise presentation simple and intuitive category navigation and clear and accurate product details.

What you do:

• Responsible for online product setup including category mapping and product sequencing as well as coordinating product photography and description with crossfunctional teams.
• Set up and review navigation including the creation of product presentation pages to support merchandising plans and promotional activities.
• Oversee the product web merchandising optimization for all site traffic and leads by creating relevant presentation of the products that will allow a better conversation rate and optimizes usage of crosssell functionalities.
• Create and manage all online coupon codes according to company objectives and strategies.
• Enhance the customers purchase and search journey by ensuring site taxonomy access to the product offer through the hierarchy sorting filters ect evolves alongside business/marketing strategy
• Track and analyze product assortment category performance and path to purchase. As well as product reviews crosssell functionalities performance and market competition trends identifying opportunities to drive purchase and creating customercentric web merchandising decisions.
• Work with IT to resolves any website performance issues as well participate technical feasibility of online merchandising projects

Qualifications :

Who you Are:

• University Degree in Commerce Marketing or equivalent field of study
• Minimum 1 years of related experience
• Experience in a retail ECommerce or merchandising field an asset
• Bilingual
