Job Description
Oaks Cairns Hotel are currently looking for a Casual Cook to join our team at our Oak and Vine Restaurant.
Duties Include:
- Preparing ingredients to use in cooking
- Cook delicious meals
- Ensure great presentation by dressing dishes before they are served
- Ensure all food and other items are stored properly
- Keep the kitchen organized and clean
Casual Hourly Rates (excluding super):
Monday Friday: $32.25 per hour
Saturday: $38.70 per hour
Sunday: $45.15 per hour
Qualifications :
To be successful you will have:
- Proven experience as cook
- Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods
- Good communication skills
- Positive proactive attitude and a passion for cooking
- Availability to work across a variety of shifts including breakfast and dinner shifts
