Job Description:
Serves as a consultant educator researcher and clinical expert for the medical center and service area. Demonstrates expertise in the care of age specific patient population (e.g. infants adolescents adults geriatrics pediatrics) according to clinical specialty and participates in related continuing education.

Required qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in nursing
- Advanced study in area of clinical specialization
- Course work in adult education principles
- Coursework/Training in Performance Improvement and research methodology
- Upon hire: California Registered Nurse License
- Upon hire: National Provider BLS American Heart Association
- 3 years Acute hospital experience in clinical specialty area
- 1 year experience in adult education patient/family education
Preferred qualifications:
- Masters degree in nursing or will accept current enrollment in
- Masters Degree program
- Within 2 years of hire: Nursing specialty certification
