Job Description
Job Summary:
Fit and assemble components according to assembly blueprints manuals and engineering memos.
Install and repair high and lowpressure pipe systems and related fixtures to water and gas systems.
Repair and test valves safety relief valves using test benches.
Analyze assembly blueprint and specifications manual to overhaul various types of valves.
Verify conformance of spare parts to stock list and blueprints using measuring instruments.
Overhaul anticavitation type control valves desuper heaters angle valves etc.
Overhaul all types of mechanical valves like ball gate globe plug butterfly and check valve.
Operate Ventil test bench to test pressure relief valves breather valves etc.
Prepare for hydro static testing of various spools heat exchangers and other systems.
Find the ratings of test blinds safe ratings of hoses whip checks pressure gauges adaptors connectors etc.
Use lapping techniques and lapping machines to lap faces of valve seats laps discs etc.
Perform inspection requirements of calibration testing of PSVs and other types of mechanical and control valves.
Perform basic preventive maintenance of test benches hydro static test pumps etc.
Operate portable pneumatic wrenches hydraulic and manual torqueing tools.
Work in both outdoor and indoor environments.
Overhaul calibrate test various types of valves as per PM and CM schedules.
Qualifications & Experience:
Completion of secondary education (12 years total).
At least 2 years of experience operating the Ventil test bench.
Familiarity with hazards and safety precautions of various hydro static testing operations.
Fluency in English.
Minimum age requirement of 30 and must be physically fit.
