Job Description

RecruitNet International Ltd specialises in Healthcare recruitment for Domestic and Overseas candidates for Hospitals Nursing Homes Home care and Community care.

We are Hiring a Person in Charge (PIC) / Centre Manager to lead a Nursing Home in Dublin Ireland.

Contract Type: FullTime Permanent


Responsibilities
  • Oversee the delivery of personcentred care ensuring that each service users specific needs and preferences are addressed.
  • Encourage service users independence dignity and inclusion in the community.
  • Create and implement individual support plans (ISPs) in partnership with service users families and interdisciplinary teams.
  • Create a safe stimulating and comfortable atmosphere for service users with intellectual disabilities.
  • Ensure complete compliance with HIQA regulations applicable policies and statutory requirements.
  • Lead HIQA inspections draughting and implementing action plans as appropriate.
  • Conduct regular audits and quality assurance inspections to ensure service excellence.
  • Maintain current risk assessments and safety protocols across all elements of the service.
  • Foster an excellenceoriented culture by leading mentoring and supporting a team of care and support personnel.



Requirements

  • A level 8 degree in social care disability studies or a comparable discipline.
  • 3 years of managerial experience in the intellectual disability healthcare or social care sectors.
  • Proven understanding of the HIQA regulations and governance structures.
  • Experience in budget management staff leadership and quality assurance.
  • Strong leadership and decisionmaking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to handle many priorities in a fastpaced atmosphere.
  • IT proficiency especially knowledge of care management software.
  • Full drivers license.
