JOB OVERVIEW

Job Title: OB/GYN Physician
Job Type: Locum Tenens
Location: Saranac Lake NY
Service Setting: Hospital & Clinic
Coverage Type: Clinical OnCall
Coverage Period: April 1 2025 May 31 2025
Clinical Schedule: 5 days a week in the Women s Health Office
Call Schedule: 10 oncall days per month

PATIENT INFORMATION

Deliveries per Month: Approximately 18
OnCall Cases:Difficult deliveries CsectionsPostpartum emergencies such as hemorrhageManagement of ectopics vulvar abscesses and miscarriages

FACILITY INFORMATION

Specialty Backup:First call supported by midwives for deliveries

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Board Certification: Required (Board Certified in OB/GYN)
Active NY License

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide comprehensive women s health services in a clinical setting (5 days/week)
Be available for difficult deliveries and csections
Provide ED call coverage for postpartum and obstetrical emergencies
Collaborate with midwives and other medical staff to ensure highquality patient care
