The Commercial discipline is responsible for driving business growth managing partnerships and providing industry subject matter expertise and advisory to both clients and internal teams. This strategic and consultative team creates meaningful relationships with clients through their combined knowledge of IT services and industry trends and pain points.
As a Business Development Executive (BDE) at Endava you will play a pivotal role in expanding our client base and driving revenue growth as a valuable team member of our Sales team using your expertise to discover and capitalise on new business opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Drive the sales pipeline by engaging new and existing clients within Growth Industries
- Drive client engagement and proposal development
- Plan and carry out business activities to build client relationships and secure opportunities
- Collaborate with senior sales and delivery teams to articulate Endavas value proposition effectively
- Develop and maintain a target account list with defined prospect/client profiles and key value propositions
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of industry verticals and subverticals providing insights and case studies to support sales efforts
- Lead discussions with industry professionals and stakeholders to generate interest and showcase expertise in key industry topics
- Participate in external industry events
- Support sales targeting and marketing activities for example reviewing lists of conference attendees to determine optimal targets and coordinating across a sales team to reach out or reviewing lists of marketing leads to assess and coordinate with the broader sales team to determine who to target
Qualifications :
- Proven experience in business development or sales ideally within IT services
- Ability to navigate complex sales cycles and engage with senior stakeholders;
- Effective communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly;
- Strategic thinker with a record of accomplishment in driving commercial success;
- Knowledgeable about industry trends technologies and client needs;
- Expertly champion specific skills within sales and conduct training sessions to nurture the development of junior sales professionals;
- Selfdriven and resultsoriented with a passion for achieving targets and delivering exceptional client outcomes.
