Reporting directly to our General Manager the primary responsibilities of the Sales Manager include:
- Overseeing and managing the sales and marketing functions of the Hotel
- Focusing on maximising meeting and events revenue
- Responsibility for proactive sales and lead generation
- In collaboration with the Revenue Manager developing comprehensive strategies aimed at maximising REVPAR
- Develop and execute sales and marketing plans using innovative promotional campaigns and focusing on local partnerships
- Drive new business acquisition and implement cross selling strategies
- Oversee the hotels digital presence
- Leadership of the Sales and Marketing Coordinator
Qualifications :
To be successful in this role you will need:
- Previous Sales and Marketing experience preferably in a hotel environment
- Exceptional relationship building skills with the ability to connect with a diverse range of people
- Entrepreneurial sprit with drive ambition and a high level of energy
- Demonstrated business and sales acumen
- Up to date with the latest online marketing trends and best practices
- A care for your fellow team mates
- A desire to have fun at work!
