Job Description
We are seeking a skilled CATIA V6 Composite Design Engineer with expertise in sandwich composite materials to join our automotive design team. The successful candidate will play a key role in the development of lightweight highperformance components for nextgeneration vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop composite sandwich structures using CATIA V6.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to integrate composite solutions into vehicle design.
- Perform feasibility studies and optimize material selection for performance and cost.
- Generate 3D models technical drawings and detailed documentation.
- Conduct structural analysis in collaboration with CAE teams.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Support manufacturing teams in tooling and production processes.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering Aerospace Engineering or a related field.
- Proficiency in CATIA V6 with experience in composite material design.
- Strong understanding of sandwich composite structures and their application in automotive engineering.
- Experience with manufacturing processes such as RTM prepreg and infusion.
- Knowledge of structural analysis and FEA tools is a plus.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the automotive or motorsport industry.
- Familiarity with GD&T and PLM systems.
- Handson experience with prototype development and testing.
