Job Description
We are looking for a Sourcing Manager Food in the ARKET caf team.
As a Sourcing Manager for our caf business you are responsible for translating the caf concept into sourcing needs and find the best solutions to secure our supply chain while optimizing price and maximize savings.
In this particular role it is important to be a good communicator and thrive on building strong supplier relationships. You are passionate about our caf concept and use your analytical skills to create the best possible assortment for our guests. You enjoy working with both hands on and strategic projects in a cross functional way and always seeks opportunity to improve processes with the end result in mind.
Main tasks & responsibilities:
- Choose suppliers producers and wholesalers for assigned markets as well as new markets
- Secure a purchase plan for increased growth and profitability for all customer touch points/sales channels in line with section goals
- Build and maintain good relationships with new and existing suppliers
- Set the goals and strategy as well as work towards the best result for your department/s in line with the section strategy.
- Constantly follow up and analyze sales and take actions accordingly
- Negotiate and agree contracts monitoring the quality of service provided for new and existing suppliers
- Maintenance of product prices and article updates in the ARKET Caf database
- Ensure compliance to ARKET/H&M central Procurement agreements Compliance with traceability demands and certification demands
- Drive and initiate sourcing projects in accordance with the defined sourcing process
Qualifications :
We believe that you have a positive and creative attitude and always strive for improvement. You are structured and organized. You have a good sense for a high service level and teamwork but are also able to work independently.
- At least 3 years experience from a chain company in caf/restaurant/food industry
- Experience working with FMCG
- International experience is preferred
- Experience working crossfunctional between several different departments
- Fluent in English both verbal and written
- Strong communication skills and a positive cando attitude
- A proven and genuine interest in food and/or the caf business
Additional Information :
This is a temporary role starting as soon as possible untill end of August 2026 and is based at Weekdays Head Office in Stockholm Sweden.
