Job Description
We are currently looking for an experienced Contract & Procurement Manager to join our Real Estate business in So Paulo working on an exciting project.
With strong experience in a consultancy or contractor organisation you will have knowledge and demonstrate hands on experience of standard forms of contract claims management dispute avoidance and/or dispute resolution within the natural resources energy and/or infrastructure environment sectors.
The Contract & Procurement Manager will represent the Clients commercial interests while overseeing procurement activities by third party partner organizations.
Responsibilities (nonexhaustive list):
- Contract management: supplier followup contract closeout and ensure contract compliance.
- Ensure that business goals are accomplished by contract implementation.
- Provide regular reporting on the status of contracts for management.
- Stakeholder management the ability to create and maintain strong relationships with your different client interfaces.
- Prepare or review requests for proposals for distribution to vendors.
- Coordinate with Project Controls and the finance department to ensure correct billing and accounts payable. Verify receipt of goods and services and help verify quality performance by vendors.
- Identify potential improvements to contracting and procurement strategies policies bidding and vendor selection to achieve the best value for the Client.
- Be an active member of the procurement organization and contract team.
Qualifications :
- 10 years relevant experience in a similar role in the Real estate construction sector.
- Commercial project experience highly preferred
- Formal Project Management methods
- Excellent problemsolving critical thinking and analytical skills.
- Ability to present to senior management to gain approvals.
- Detail oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to multitask in a fastpaced and quickly changing environment.
