About the role
The Second International Conference on Museum Studies 2025 is a landmark event dedicated to advancing education innovation and the future of museums. This conference will serve as a platform for global thought leaders academics and industry experts to engage in meaningful discussions on the evolving role of museums in cultural preservation digital transformation and educational outreach.
As a Subject Matter Expert (SME) you will play a pivotal role in shaping the intellectual discourse of the conference by ensuring that speaker speeches and presentations meet the highest academic cultural and professional standards. Your expertise will contribute to fostering impactful dialogue driving thought leadership and inspiring innovation in the museum sector. Responsibilities
1. Speech Review & Content Evaluation
Rigorously analyze and vet speeches presentations and panel discussions to ensure they align with the conferences core themes of education museums and innovation.
Assess the clarity coherence and intellectual impact of speech content ensuring it resonates with the diverse audience of museum professionals educators and policymakers.
Ensure that speeches reflect cuttingedge insights best practices and forwardthinking approaches in the field of museum studies and cultural heritage.
Identify and correct factual inaccuracies cultural sensitivities and content inconsistencies while preserving the speakers original message.
2. Quality Assurance & Compliance
Ensure all content is culturally and historically accurate aligning with Saudi Arabias rich heritage and global museum standards.
Validate referenced research case studies and statistics for credibility and relevance to the conference themes.
Guarantee that all presentations adhere to international academic and ethical standards maintaining the integrity of scholarly discourse.
3. Collaboration & Advisory
Work directly with speakers moderators and panelists to refine their messaging ensuring their speeches are engaging insightful and transformative.
Provide structured feedback and content recommendations helping speakers enhance their storytelling and audience engagement.
Collaborate with the conferences curatorial and programming teams to ensure a cohesive narrative across keynote addresses panel discussions and workshops.
Offer expert guidance on emerging museum trends educational methodologies and technological innovations ensuring speeches reflect the latest advancements in the field.
4. Content Enhancement & Adaptation
Recommend engaging storytelling techniques realworld case studies and strategic frameworks to enrich speech content.
Adapt complex academic and industry concepts into accessible and compelling narratives for a diverse audience.
Assist in the development of speaker briefing materials including talking points and Q&A preparation for panel discussions.
Candidate Requirements
Masters or PhD in Museum Studies Cultural Heritage History Education or a related field.
Minimum 10 years of experience in academic research cultural policy museum education or conference content development.
Demonstrated expertise in reviewing editing and refining academic or professional speeches and presentations.
Strong understanding of Saudi Arabian history culture and museum ecosystem with prior experience working on cultural projects in the Kingdom.
Experience working with government institutions cultural commissions or international organizations in the museum or heritage sector.
Fluent in English (written and spoken) with exceptional communication and editorial skills.
Previous involvement in international conferences academic symposiums or highprofile cultural events is a plus.
