Exciting opportunity for Periodontists in Calgary Alberta

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Periodontist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in periodontal care and a passion for providing exceptional patient care. As a Periodontist you will play a vital role in diagnosing and treating gum diseases performing surgical procedures and educating patients on maintaining optimal oral health.

Duties:

• Conduct comprehensive examinations to diagnose periodontal diseases and conditions.
• Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to patient needs and preferences.
• Perform surgical procedures including gum grafts pocket reduction surgery and dental implants.
• Collaborate with general dentists and specialists to provide integrated patient care.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and the importance of periodontal health.
• Stay current with advancements in periodontics and incorporate best practices into treatments.

Experience & Qualifications:

• Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a residency program in Periodontics.
• Proficiency in pediatric dentistry is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with dental fabrication techniques is a plus.
• Strong understanding of medical terminology and documentation.
• Experience with oral surgery procedures is highly desirable.
• Prior experience in a dental office setting with a focus on patient care is essential.

Position Details:

• Days: 24 days per week
• Expected Hours: Approximately 8 hours per week
• Compensation: 50% of production
