Job Description
- We are seeking a Payment Domain Expert to drive innovation optimize payment processes and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
- The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the payments ecosystem including card networks digital wallets realtime payments and crossborder transactions.
- This role requires deep expertise in payment technologies fraud prevention and regulatory frameworks.
- Leverage Payment domain expertise to identify customer problems thought leadership to bring in industry perspective recommend solutions best practices build proactive proposals convert into revenue opportunities mutually benefiting Client and the customer.
- Payment Strategy & Innovation: Define and implement payment solutions aligned with business needs industry trends and customer expectations.
- Payment Processing: Optimize payment workflows including authorization settlement reconciliation and chargebacks.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to global and regional payment regulations (PCIDSS PSD2 GDPR etc.).
- Technology & Integrations: Work with engineering teams to enhance payment platforms integrate APIs and improve transaction security.
- Fraud & Risk Management: Develop fraud prevention strategies using data analytics machine learning and risk assessment tools.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Liaise with banks payment processors fintech partners and internal teams to streamline payment operations.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Monitor payment performance metrics analyze trends and provide actionable insights.
- Experience: 12 years in payments fintech banking or ecommerce payment operations.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with payment gateways tokenization encryption and APIbased payment solutions.
- Industry Expertise: Strong understanding of card schemes (Visa Mastercard Amex) ACH SWIFT UPI BNPL and emerging payment methods.
- Compliance & Risk: Experience with KYC AML PCIDSS and fraud prevention best practices. Analytical Skills: Proficiency in payment analytics tools SQL and datadriven decisionmaking.
- Communication: Ability to collaborate across technical and nontechnical teams present insights and drive strategic initiatives. Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AI/MLdriven fraud detection models.
- Knowledge of blockchainbased payment solutions and digital currencies.
- Previous experience in a leadership or advisory role within the payment domain
