Job Description
Location: Remote
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualification.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement detailed test strategies plans and cases based on product requirements and design specifications.
- Ensure comprehensive test coverage for both functional and nonfunctional requirements.
- Conduct both manual and automated testing of web and mobile applications.
- Write maintain and execute automated test scripts for functional regression and performance testing.
- Work with tools like Selenium JUnit TestNG or other relevant automation frameworks.
- Identify document and track software defects ensuring proper resolution with development teams.
- Report and prioritize defects based on their impact on product functionality.
- Collaborate with developers product managers and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure quality is built into the product from the beginning.
- Participate in agile ceremonies like sprint planning daily standups and retrospectives.
- Conduct performance and load testing using tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner to ensure scalability and stability of applications.
- Set up and maintain test environments to replicate realworld conditions as closely as possible.
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior QA engineers and assist with training and skill development.
- Identify areas for process improvement and contribute to the refinement of QA processes and best practices.
- Stay updated with industry trends and evolving testing methodologies.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience in QA engineering with at least 2 years in a senior or lead role.
- Proven experience with both manual and automated testing in complex environments.
- Expertise in test automation frameworks (Selenium JUnit TestNG etc.) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies (Agile Scrum Waterfall).
- Experience with defect tracking tools (JIRA Bugzilla etc.) and version control systems (Git SVN).
- Familiarity with scripting languages like Python Java or JavaScript for test automation.
- Handson experience with performance and load testing tools (JMeter LoadRunner).
- Experience with cloudbased platforms and testing in cloud environments (AWS Azure GCP) is a plus.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
- Experience with testing microservices APIs (Postman RESTassured).
- Familiarity with mobile testing (Android/iOS) and related frameworks (Appium XCUITest Espresso).
- Knowledge of security testing tools and practices.
- Experience in performance tuning and optimization of testing frameworks.
- Federal Experience is a plus.
- Required Security clearance.
