Job Description
We are a recognized professional services design firm providing civil engineering water resources engineering landscape architecture sports and recreation land planning surveying and mapping and physical site security design to a broad spectrum of market sectors and clients. These projects range from once in a lifetime mixeduse projects of enormous scale to smaller scale projects that provide an excellent opportunity for engineers to develop as professionals.
We has a dedicated Water Resources Team providing services in the following areas: stormwater management design floodplain analysis and permitting dam breach analysis and permitting municipal separate storm sewer system (MS4) permitting stormwater construction inspections and stormwater operation and maintenance program.
This Opportunity
We are seeking a Water Resources Senior Project Manager to join our Water Resources Team within our Chantilly VA office. This individual will work directly with the Director of Water Resources to manage team operations and projects in all the water resources services offerings.
This individual will have the experience to oversee a wide variety of water resources projects of varying scales and complexities and assist with managing a talented group of project managers and design engineers. This individual will be responsible for performing QA/QC on our projects and advancing our team design processes. This individual will also be responsible for supporting contract management responsibilities such as writing proposals additional work authorizations billing business development and general client management. This individual must have a strong foundation in design and management of stormwater management floodplains and dams in Virginia with preferred additional experience in Maryland and DC.
General Job Responsibilities
Review of stormwater management concept plans and construction documents
Review of H&H models for floodplain and dam modeling
Review of technical reports and permit applications
QA / QC of construction documents permit applications certifications and other project deliverables
Research regulatory codes manuals and standards
Project and client management.
