Job Title: Physical Therapist (PT)
Location: Clayton NM
Type: Direct Hire Permanent
Shift: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (MonFri No Weekend Rotation)
Facility: Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)

We are a specialized recruitment firm focusing on the healthcare industry. We are currently assisting one of our esteemed clients in their search for a dedicated Physical Therapist (PT) for their Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) in Clayton NM.
Job Overview:
Our client a respected Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) in Clayton NM is seeking an experienced Physical Therapist (PT) to join their team. This is a fulltime permanent position with a Monday through Friday schedule (no weekend rotation). As a PT you will play a key role in delivering highquality physical therapy care to patients improving their mobility independence and overall quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients based on assessment and evaluation.
- Provide direct physical therapy services to patients including exercises manual therapy and modalities aimed at improving physical function and mobility.
- Monitor and assess patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.
- Educate patients and families on proper exercise techniques safety protocols and strategies for managing conditions at home.
- Document all patient interactions progress and treatment plans in compliance with facility guidelines and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team including nursing staff and other therapists to coordinate patient care.
- Ensure a safe environment for patients during therapy sessions and follow all safety and infection control protocols.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings providing insights and updates on patient care.
- Stay current with the latest physical therapy trends techniques and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
- Valid and current PT license in the state of New Mexico.
- Previous experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or similar healthcare setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong knowledge of physical therapy evaluation and treatment methods.
- Ability to work with elderly populations particularly those with chronic conditions or disabilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients families and healthcare teams.
- Ability to work efficiently and adapt to a fastpaced healthcare environment.
Additional Details:
- Fulltime position with a Monday to Friday schedule (8:00 AM to 4:30 PM). No weekend rotation.
