Job Description
Job Title: Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

Contract: Permanent
Shift: Monday to Friday 8:00 AM 4:30 PM
Guaranteed Hours: 30 hours per week
Salary Range: $26.40 $28.14 per hour

Job Description:
Delmar Gardens of OFallon is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join their rehabilitation team. The PTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide therapeutic interventions aimed at improving patients mobility relieving pain and enhancing overall functional abilities.
Key Responsibilities:

Implement Treatment Plans: Administer physical therapy treatments as outlined by the Physical Therapist including exercises manual therapy and the use of therapeutic modalities.

Patient Education: Instruct patients and their families on exercises and activities to be continued at home promoting ongoing recovery and function.

Progress Monitoring: Observe and document patients progress adjusting treatments as necessary and reporting findings to the supervising Physical Therapist.

Equipment Management: Ensure therapy equipment is clean wellmaintained and properly set up for patient use.

Collaboration: Work closely with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care and participate in team meetings to discuss patient progress and discharge planning.
Qualifications:

Education: Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.

Licensure: Current state licensure or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant in Missouri.
