Job Description
We are looking for GCP Data Engineer profiles for Hybrid to Miami FL.
We are seeking a highly skilled GCP Data Engineer to join our data engineering team. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services and a strong background in big data processing data pipeline development and cloudbased data architecture. This role will focus on designing implementing and maintaining scalable data solutions to support analytics and business intelligence.
Key Responsibilities:
Design develop and maintain data pipelines using GCP services such as BigQuery Dataflow Pub/Sub Cloud Composer and Cloud Storage.
Optimize and manage largescale data processing and ETL workflows.
Implement data modeling and warehousing solutions using BigQuery and related tools.
Ensure data quality reliability and efficiency through robust testing and validation mechanisms.
Collaborate with data scientists analysts and application teams to understand data requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
Optimize database performance and query tuning in BigQuery.
Manage security access control and compliance for data infrastructure.
Automate infrastructure deployments using InfrastructureasCode (IaC) with Terraform or similar tools.
Monitor and troubleshoot data workflows ensuring high availability and reliability.
Required Qualifications:
8 years of experience as a Data Engineer with expertise in GCP.
Proficiency in SQL and Python for data processing and automation.
Handson experience with GCP services such as BigQuery Dataflow Cloud Storage Pub/Sub and Cloud Composer.
Strong understanding of ETL/ELT workflows and best practices.
Experience with Apache Beam Spark or other distributed data processing frameworks.
Familiarity with data governance security best practices and compliance standards.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools for cloudbased deployments.
Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer Certification.
Telecom Domain
Experience with Customer 360 Customer Data Platform
Experience working in agile development environments.
