RN MedSurg Acute Care/OBS Unit RN for Days. Our census is growing due to increase in Ortho surgerys this time of year Hybrid Cath Lab procedures/surgerys and acute/chronic illnesses. Come help us out and play in the Colorado Mountains! The Acute Care unit is a 33bed unit providing multiple levels of care to acute and chronically ill patients with a variety of medical/surgical diagnosis. The Registered Nurse (RN) Acute Care/MedSurg Adult is responsible for providing the highest degree of quality nursing care to patients. The nurse will use their specialized knowledge and expertise related to critical disease states to plan coordinate implement and evaluate patient care utilizing the nursing process. SHIFT: 12hour day shift including weekend rotation; must agree to be in the call rotation and take 1 call shift per 2week period (following VV s pay schedule) in place of guaranteed hours that week; if requested due to staffing needs. EXPERIENCE: Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of Acute Care/Med Surge/Telemetry or similar RN experience REQUIRED. CERTS: Current RN License to work in Colorado. Current BLS issued by the American Heart Association Flu Vaccine Agencys please include the below when submitting candidates: Resume Copy of Nursys License Skills Sheet Flu Vaccination (mandatory) no declinations accepted required Oct 1st through April 1 must be from THIS flu season
