Job Description
Your Role and amp; Responsibilities:
- Assist patients with personal care tasks such as bathing dressing grooming and toileting.
- Support safe mobility and transfers ensuring patient comfort and security.
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals accommodating dietary restrictions.
- Perform light housekeeping to maintain a clean safe and organized environment.
- Monitor and record vital signs reporting any changes to healthcare professionals.
- Provide companionship and emotional support fostering a warm and encouraging atmosphere.
- Accurately document patient care activities and report concerns as needed.
What Were Looking For:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 6 months of experience as an HHA or in a related caregiving role.
- Valid New Jersey Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) certification is required.
- A strong sense of compassion patience and reliability.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to connect with patients and families.
- Ability to follow care plans and safety protocols effectively.
