Job Description

The School of Mining and Geoscience at Nazarbayev University is seeking a motivated Postdoctoral scholar. Service responsibility will be partitioned into Research (80%) and Teaching (20%) with an expected teaching load of one course per semester. 

We are particularly interested in candidates with teaching interests and research directed in the area of data analytics big data and numerical methods/artificial intelligence applications in upstream petroleum operations. 


Qualifications :

The successful candidate must have a PhD degree in Petroleum Engineering or a related discipline with a proven research track record.

Kazakhstani applicants who have completed their doctorates internationally are especially encouraged to apply.

This is a full time position on the basis of empoyment contract for 1 year with possible renewal.
