About the Role
You will be working in a fastpaced organization that promotes crossfunctional collaborationand applying your professional knowledge and expertise to
build a strong risk culture across Bowtie ensuring we operate within the risk appetite of the company.
The risk team has opportunities to immerse themselves in a fastpaced startup environment and togain handson experience in developing and applying the risk management framework within aninsurance company.
Reporting to the Chief Risk Officer you will be working sidebyside with people from different teamsand backgrounds whether its with our security engineers to understand modern cybersecurity exposuresor our marketing team on risk assessment of new ideas you will be an integral part of the riskmanagement function. At the core of this youd be responsible for:
YourKey Responsibilities Include:
- Helping to build the unique risk culture of Hong Kongs 1 st virtual insurer
- Applying quantitative and qualitative approaches in risk management per governance policy
- Supporting the production of Own Risk Solvency Assessment (ORSA) reviews and processes
- Understanding of Hong Kongs regulatory environment and the application of relevant guidelines
- Building automated processes to apply governance policy and requirements
- On top of gaining handson experiences you will also get to see the bigger picture and be involved indecisionmaking process.
About you
- 46 years of risk management experience or similar roles in insurance (actuarial finance audit)
- Strong quantitative background with an understanding of risk management fundamentals
- Problemsolving mindset coupled with strong communication skills
- Technical knowledge of insurance (i.e. RiskBased Capital)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office in particular MS Excel
- Excellent command of spoken and written English
