We are looking for an Embedded Software Engineer Intern to join our Embedded Software team in Hyvink Finland. As an Embedded Software Engineer Intern you will be working with safety critical machine control and IoT systems leveraging modern microcontrollers and development technologies all within an Agile development process. Your daily responsibilities include assisting in the design and programming using C/Python testing software on the end products (hoists/cranes) and writing test automation scripts using the Robot Framework. You will work closely with your team members who help you get started and support you in your daytoday activities. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your cooperation skills and network with the best talents of your industry. The job is located in Hyvink with the possibility to work partly remotely.

What kind of talent are we looking for
This role is ideal for an Electrical Engineering or Information Technology student who is eager to learn more about Embedded Systems and related development tasks. You are welcome to Konecranes as yourself but we especially value your good teamwork skills hardworking attitude and enthusiasm for developing yourself. Our work environment is highly international so proficiency in English and the courage to work in an international work environment are important.
What should you bring
- Studies in Electrical Engineering or Information Technology (preferably 3rd4th year)
- Understanding of Microcontrollers and Programming languages such as C and Python from your studies or working life
- You know how to use traditional ITprograms e.g. Microsoft Office Email etc.
- Earlier work experience in similar tasks is seen as a beneficial
