Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion Benefits & Compensation Lead to serve as a technical expert providing solutions and enhancements to the Benefits and Compensation modules within Oracle Fusion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in system configuration payroll integration and process optimization while ensuring compliance with industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Benefits Module Support:
- Provide support for the 2024 Open Enrollment (OE) cycle and ensure a smooth execution.
- Assist in Oracle Benefit Fusion Cloud configuration in preparation for OE.
- Align configurations with industry best practices and process guidance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues impacting the open enrollment cycle.
- Update configuration workbooks and training materials.
- Manage benefitrelated considerations including 401k plans ACA data life events enrollment rules and vendor integrations.
Compensation Module Support:
- Review and enhance grade and grade ladder setups to support compensation cycles.
- Enable grade ladders at the position level and eliminate custom solutions that create extra manual work.
- Reconfigure grade and grade ladders for both union and nonunion workforces.
- Provide guidance on whatif salary increase analysis for the Compensation team.
- Configure bonus and merit compensation plans for employees in the United States Central America and Puerto Rico.
- Implement reporting dashboards and approval workflows to support the compensation module.
- Enable total compensation statements for merit cycles.
- Ensure the successful execution of merit plans through payroll while leveraging new Oracle Redwood functionalities.
General Responsibilities:
- Lead as a technical expert identifying and implementing Oracle Fusion Benefits and Compensation solutions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of technical solutions.
- Conduct business requirement reviews and recommend best practices for software architecture and system integration.
- Develop technology roadmaps to support business goals and process improvement initiatives.
- Lead payroll process optimization including elements review fast formulas tax reporting balance accumulators and yearend processing.
- Ensure seamless integration with timekeeping solutions (Kronos) and payroll systems for union and nonunion employees.
- Act as a mentor to team members and review work performed by thirdparty vendors.
- Stay updated with emerging Oracle HCM Cloud functionalities and market trends.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Business or a related field OR equivalent experience (14 years total).
- 5 years of IT experience with 7 years in software design development and implementation.
- Experience in US payroll processes for union and nonunion employees within Oracle HCM Cloud.
- Proven track record of leading Oracle HCM Cloud payroll projects including tax reporting payroll flows W2 processing and process optimization.
- Strong expertise in Oracle Fusion Benefits & Compensation modules.
