Job Description

As a Platform Engineer DBM you will:
  • Design set up maintain and optimize Amazon RDS within the AWS environment.
  • Manage and migrate existing onpremises Oracle and PostgreSQL databases to AWS.
  • Implement monitoring and reporting solutions using Splunk.
  • Ensure database performance high availability and security during and after migration.
  • Automate database configurations and infrastructure management using Terraform and Puppet.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to integrate cloudbased and onpremises database solutions.
What You Bring to the Table:
  • 57 years of experience working with Oracle and/or PostgreSQL databases in roles such as DBA or DevOps Engineer.
  • Strong knowledge of AWS including cloudbased database management.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation tools like Terraform and Puppet.
  • Understanding of IT security compliance and service management in a database environment.
  • A structured and detailoriented mindset ensuring accuracy in database operations.
You Should Possess the Ability to:
  • Independently research and resolve complex database issues.
  • Work collaboratively with infrastructure and development teams.
  • Maintain high availability and optimize performance of databases.
  • Implement best practices for database security and compliance.
