Our insurance team is looking for people like YOU. Requirements
More About You
You have a postsecondary degree or diploma.
Youre great with people preferably in sales and service roles.
You possess betterthanaverage computer skills your typing skills up there with the best of them!
You have a strong interest in the insurance industry and want to make it your career.
You posses a Level I or Level II General Insurance License or a strong motivation to obtain one.
You are naturally inclined to take initiative independently; you are resourceful and like staying uptodate.
You demonstrate an otherfocused approach to people.
You can communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
You are detail oriented organized and able to multitask. You understand the significance of these skills.
You can work at a quick pace under pressure; possess time management skills.
You like people and are willing to serve them with a smile even when conflict arises.
Assets include experience with Vertafores SIG BMS Applied Rating Services (Compuquote) and insurance company portals.
Experience with Aviva SGI Canada Peace Hills Pembridge MAX Sandbox (SMI) Portage Mutual Optimum West Travelers and others is an asset.
More About the Role
Sales and service. Managing a book of business attracting new clients and taking great care of the ones we already have.
Responding to client inquiries regarding insurance coverage billing issues claims and certificates of insurance
Providing quotations for potential policy changes
Reevaluating appropriate personal insurance coverage on existing lines of business
Processing renewals to ensure retention of existing client relationships
Entering and maintaining client information in the broker management system (Vertafore SIG)
Processing policy changes on insurance company portals
Provide support to sales staff as needed
Crossselling other First Foundation services to clients
Answering and directing calls and emails to employees of the brokerage
