Job Description
Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled SAP S/4HANA Finance Consultant with extensive experience in S/4HANA implementation system conversion and landscape transformation. The ideal candidate should be proficient in SAP ACTIVATE and Agile methodologies and possess deep expertise in Finance and Controlling (FICO) including Product Costing Material Ledger (ML) and COPA. The consultant will be responsible for leading endtoend implementations integrating finance with other SAP and nonSAP modules and driving best practices for business process optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
SAP S/4HANA Implementation & Transformation:
- Lead and execute SAP S/4HANA implementations system conversions and landscape transformations following SAP ACTIVATE and Agile methodologies.
- Provide expert guidance on business process optimization and leverage SAP Best Practices to drive efficiency.
- Ensure seamless integration of SAP S/4HANA Finance with other SAP and thirdparty systems.
Finance & Accounting Expertise:
- Strong knowledge of IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards) including Revenue Accounting and Recognition (RAR).
- Expertise in financial accounting (FI) controlling (CO) and related modules.
- Experience in Advanced Controlling (CO) Product Costing Material Ledger (ML) and COPA (Profitability Analysis).
EndtoEnd Implementation & Business Process Optimization:
- Manage multiple fullcycle SAP S/4HANA Finance implementation projects from requirement gathering to deployment.
- Work independently to bring best practices and innovative solutions to the table.
- Conduct client workshops for the Financial Accounting track during the Explore and Build phases.
- Ensure business process knowledge and system configuration in S/4HANA Finance aligns with industry standards.
- Provide crossfunctional integration support between finance logistics and other business processes.
- Ensure compliance with SAP and nonSAP applications for seamless integration.
Desirable Skills & Certifications:
- Deep understanding of SAP Best Practices and knowledge across multiple SAP modules their integrations and technology landscapes.
- SAP S/4HANA Finance Certification (preferred).
- Handson knowledge of new S/4HANA features including:
- Embedded Analytics for realtime reporting and insights.
- SAP Fiori for an enhanced user experience.
- S/4HANA conversion and prerequisites to ensure smooth migration from legacy systems.
- S/4HANA simplifications and business impact assessments to improve process efficiency.
- SAP Cloud Platform for integration and extension capabilities.
- Embedded Analytics for realtime reporting and insights.
Required Experience & Qualifications:
- 7 years of handson experience in SAP S/4HANA Finance RTR (RecordtoReport) and Controlling (CO).
- Proven expertise in SAP Finance transformation projects including system conversion and landscape migration.
- Strong analytical problemsolving and presentation skills.
- Ability to lead workshops collaborate with key business stakeholders and align SAP solutions with business requirements.
- Excellent communication skills to work with crossfunctional teams and drive SAP implementation success.
