Job Description

  • Treatment of infants children adolescents or young adults according to the active plan of care as given by the physician and other appropriate personnel
  • Administration of prescribed medication treatments and therapies
  • Documents all activities assessments nursing actions and responses
  • Educates the patient and family regarding the disease process selfcare techniques and prevention strategies and in meeting the patients nursing needs.
  • Perform wound care
  • Manage case load
  • Care coordinate with providers and patient families
  • Practice safe delivery of physician ordered care to pediatric patients in a home environment
  • Perform patient assessments
  • Provide feeding tube management and education
  • Administer and manage medication
  • Provide central line management lab draws and infusion education
  • Perform tracheostomy education and urinary catheter management and care
  • Perform accurate and concise documentation

Qualifications :

  • Active Nursing License in good standing (required)
  • One year of recent experience as a Nurse in a clinical care setting (preferred)
  • Home health experience (preferred)
  • Attention to detail
  • Time Management skills
  • Effective problemsolving and conflict resolution
  • Good organization and effective communication
  • PICC/Central line experience (preferred)
  • An active Colorado (or compact state) registered nurse license in good standing
  • Flexibility & dependability
  • Homecare experience (preferred)


Additional Information :

As an MGA Nurse you can expect

  • Compensation ranging from $70$75 per Visit $90$100 per Start of Care
    • Compensation is dependent on experience tenure and number of visits worked.
    • The bottom range indicates little to no experience
    • The top range indicates highly skilled and experienced
