We are looking for a finance professional with a passion for data and a talent for deriving key insights to support decisionmaking. We have an exciting opportunity for the right person to join our Business Analytics team as an Analytics Business Partner.
This senior role will give the chance to work closely with senior team members providing highquality evidencebased insights that drive strategic decisions. This position offers a dynamic and exciting environment where you can grow personally and professionally showcasing standard processes in data analysis and using LGCs analytical resources.
Job description:
- Ensure Report Accuracy and Availability: Collaborate with business users to understand reports and ensure outputs are highquality.
- Develop Reports and Dashboards: Create new reports and dashboards to help users gain insights and make evidencebased decisions.
- Improve Data Quality and Integration: Test new data sources automate existing reports and support data quality initiatives.
- Drive Reporting Innovation: Enhance reporting and visualization techniques promoting selfservice analytics and raising awareness of available data sources.
Qualifications :
What Were Looking For:
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Tableau (or similar) for creating reports and dashboards advanced Excel skills including Data Query and Data Model Pivots and basic SQL knowledge.
- Analytical Approach: Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with attention to data integrity and a commercial attitude.
- Experience and Qualifications: Professional accounting qualification relevant degree and at least 5 years in a commercial or financial analytics role.
- Communication Skills: Ability to guide users document processes and communicate complex data concepts clearly.
- Proactive Learner: Selfmotivated with a willingness to quickly learn new skills and adapt to changing needs.

Additional Information :
LGC Group Analytics is a centrally placed team responsible for providing each business unit within the organisation with analytics support driving analytics best practices and engagement with our analytics tools (Tableau and SAP Business Objects). As part of the Group Analytics team this role has the exciting opportunity to learn and develop alongside other analytics colleagues and help influence how LGC performs analytics.
