About Lesaffre:

continuously exploring cuttingedge technologies to empower our teams and enhance
productivity.
Internship Overview:
We are looking for a motivated and techsavvy intern to evaluate Generative AI solutions
aimed at improving coding productivity for various technical profiles at Lesaffre including
Data Engineers Data Scientists Data Analysts Computational Biologists Biostatisticians
and Automation Engineers.
This internship offers a unique opportunity to explore AIdriven tools engage with
stakeholders and contribute to strategic recommendations for future implementations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. User Needs Assessment:
- Collaborate with developers and technical teams to understand their coding pain points and productivity challenges.
- Conduct surveys and interviews to gather insights on expectations from AIassisted coding solutions.
2. Market Benchmarking:
- Identify and analyze existing Generative AI tools (e.g. GitHub Copilot AWS CodeWhisperer Google Duet AI etc.).
- Evaluate tools based on technical functionalities security ease of integration and cost considerations.
3. Solution Testing:
- Perform handson testing of shortlisted solutions in realworld coding environments.
- Assess performance accuracy user experience and potential productivity gains.
4. Security & Compliance Analysis:
- Work with Lesaffres IT security teams to evaluate compliance with data privacy policies and cybersecurity standards.
- Ensure adherence to company guidelines for AI adoption.
5. Strategic Recommendation:
- Synthesize findings into a comprehensive report with datadriven insights.
- Provide actionable recommendations to guide decisionmaking on the adoption of Generative AI tools at Lesaffre.
Qualifications :
- Currently pursuing an Engineering or a Masters degree in Computer Science Data
- Science AI or a related field.
- Strong interest in AI software development productivity tools and emerging
- technologies.
- Basic programming skills (Python SQL etc.) and familiarity with development
- environments (Git CI/CD pipelines).
- Analytical mindset with the ability to compare and assess technical solutions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Fluency in English (French is a plus).
