Job Description
Responsibilities:
Test Setup and Execution
- Prepare test specimens according to instructions.
- Set up and operate mechanical testing equipment as instructed.
- Conduct mechanical tests on samples as instructed.
- Monitor test parameters and adjust as needed during testing.
Data Collection and Analysis
- Accurately record test data.
Quality Control
- Adhere to established quality control procedures and standards.
- Identify and report any discrepancies or nonconforming results.
Safety Practices
- Follow all safety protocols related to handling test samples operating equipment and working in a laboratory environment.
Qualifications :
Basic Minimum Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.
- Previous experience as a mechanical test technician or related role is beneficial but not required.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- High level of precision and accuracy in data collection and recording.
- Ability to document test results clearly and concisely.
Work Environment
- Primarily based in a laboratory environment with exposure to various mechanical testing equipment.
- Involves lifting and handling test samples.
- Adherence to safety protocols is critical.
Additional Information :
Duration:
- Temporary 3 to 6 months
Compensation:
- $27.00/hour to $30.00/hour (Depends on experience)
Schedule:
- 40 hours per week
