Job Description

  • Lead and manage the London Groups & Events Sales and Short Lead teams from recruitment and induction managing workload & resource distribution through to training development plans and reviews.
  • Take responsibility for achieving financial targets forecasting monthly revenues and reporting on month end performance.
  • Maintain and share uptodate knowledge on Groups and Events performance future pace trends and set clear focus areas supporting the team to achieve consistently.
  • As a key part of the London commercial team youll be collaborating with other departments to agree & implement strategies drive results and ensure brand alignment keeping The Hoxton one step ahead of the market.
  • Ensure the Hox client journey is always top of mind; from site inspections swift enquiry responses securing contracts and reviewing addendums through to final planning handover.
  • Ensure up to date selling guidelines are in place & manage the Group & Events offering to optimise conversion and maximise revenues.
  • Maintain an excellent level of knowledge of the local marketplace in each Hoxton location and feedback any new opportunities to explore.
  • Work closely with the London and wider European sales team to improve internal procedures ensuring our systems are fully configured and hold accurate data enabling your team to operate efficiently while following key processes.
  • Ensure our client material think proposals contracts promotions brochures web pages is up to date and onbrand.
  • Get stuck in with everything youd expect your team to and be ready to react to any curve balls that come your way from client proposals to admin tasks were an all hands on deck team.

Qualifications :

 

  • Given the scope of the role were looking for someone with at least 2 years experience in a managerial position.
  • Youre naturally very commercially intuitive with an appetite for digging deep into analytics and thoroughly confident when sharing valuable insights at senior level.
  • Youre a positive gogetter looking to make your mark on this department and passionate about driving groups meetings & events business.
  • You enjoy working with and already understand the inner workings of multiple departments from operations to proactive sales and from revenue to brand.
  • Youre calm under pressure and enjoy leading a remarkable team within a fastpaced environment.
  • You lead by example on attention to detail and organisational skills managing your time when its in high demand.
  • Youre looking to motivate and lead a team that works hard supports each other and has fun along the way.
  • You can nurture a team culture where team members feel empowered to make decisions and take responsibility for their workload and professional development.
  • Experience using DELPHI would be an advantage.
  • Youre looking for a challenge and a place where you can be you.
