Job Description
Providing Inspired Food & Beverage to highlight the destination we represent is one of our passions. As a Makana Market Deli Attendant you will be a hospitality ambassador that will connect our guests to the delectable cuisine inspired by our diverse culture and island home. The care you pour into crafting beverages in our market along with your attention to detail and thoughtful service will help us showcase our passion and accomplish our mission of turning moments into memories.
Hourly Rate: $22.19
What you will be doing:
- Complete daily opening checklist and duties assigned
- Dispense prepare and serve menu items within the market
- Inventory requisition stock and maintain products within the market
- Receive and process all cash and credit card transactions from guests in an efficient and accurate manner
- Balance the point of sale system at end of shift
- Have full knowledge of all menu items garnishes contents and preparation methods
Qualifications :
Your experience and skills include:
- Ability to focus attention on guest needs remaining calm and courteous at all times
- Previous guest service experience is an asset
- Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced energetic environment
- Ability to work cohesively and collaboratively as part of a team
- Must have good cash handling skills
- Must possess basic computational ability
- Available to work flexible hours that may include early mornings evenings weekends nights and/or holidays
Licenses or Certificates
- TB Clearance required
- Maui County Liquor Card required
- Food Safety Certification or ServSafe Certification required
Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to):
- Constant standing and walking throughout shift
- Frequent lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs
- Occasional kneeling pushing pulling lifting
- Occasional ascending or descending ladders stairs ramps

All Candidates must be in possession of identification proving authorization to work in the United States as defined in the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986 (IRCA).
