For our head office in Freiburg Germany we are currently seeking a Project Manager (m/f/d) in the area of public sector support and/or economic development (Entry date 1 April 2025).

Tasks

Scope of responsibilities and tasks

As a Project Manager (PM) you will play a key role in managing our international cooperation projects while also supporting our business development activities. Our approach focuses on fostering a culture of selfresponsibility and supporting the professional growth of our staff.

As our Project Manager your responsibilities will include:

• Management of projects (technical and contractual management financial control)
• Monitoring and support (technical and administrative) of our international project teams worldwide
• Providing technical advice upon specific needs of our projects
• Liaison and networking with clients implementation partners service providers worldwide
• Business development an important part of the daytoday work (assessing business opportunities identifying project teams preparing technical proposals etc.)
• Undertaking of project management and business development missions worldwide
• Contribution to internal knowledge sharing and capitalisation

Requirements

Academic background:

• Masters degree ideally in Public administration International development Political sciences or Economics

Professional experience:At least three (3) years of proven project management experience in international cooperation acquired within an international cooperation agency and/or an internationally operating consultancy firm

• Additional work or study experience abroad would be a strong asset

Soft skills:

• Strong entrepreneurial spirit
• Excellent selforganising skills
• Strong affinity with project management
• Proven analytical conceptual and writing skills
• Strong intercultural and communication skills

Languages:

• English: very good (minimum requirement C1)
• French: good (minimum requirement B2)

IT skills:

• Strong command of Word and Excel
