We are seeking a detailoriented and highly organized Paralegal to join our legal team to support our client in the UK Asset Finance Sector specializing in vehicle financing and handling unfair commission claims. You will be involved in the data gathering process reviewing of documentation completing FOS submissions and responding to legal claims while working in a resultsorientated professional services environment focusing on delivering brilliant outcomes for clients. This role requires strong analytical skills excellent communication and a thorough understanding of legal procedures in Vehicle Finance.
Key Responsibilities:
Document preparation and research requests.
Preparing and checking legal documents for quality consistency and content.
Developing cases by maintaining contact with all involved parties.
Drafting letters of demand.
Reviewing settlement offers for vehicle financing.
Drafting and filing legal documents and correspondence.
Reviewing and reporting on claims.
Working to deadlines and coordinating calendars.
Keeping clients updated on the progress of their cases.
Utilising Claims Management Systems to progress cases to completion.
Providing brilliant client experience including responding to ad hoc information.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Law or relevant Legal qualification (Paralegal certification preferred).
Previous experience in the Vehicle Financing sector and added advantage.
5 – 7 years of experience as a paralegal in a law firm or corporate legal department.
Indepth knowledge of legal terminology court procedures and document formatting.
Proficiency in legal research tools and case management software.
Experience of reviewing of legal documentation to identify clause changes.
Experience preparing documentation for court proceedings.
An attentive eye to detail with strong writing numerical and communication skills.
Ability to perform in a highvolume processoriented environment.
Proactive Selfstarter with ability to work off own initiative.
Brilliant organizational skills and ability to work to deadlines.
Experience dealing with unfair commission claims is desirable but not essential for candidates who match other criteria.
