We are seeking a highly motivated and strategic Product Owner to drive competitive analysis and strategic insights within our loyalty platform solutions. In this role you will play a critical part in understanding the competitive landscape identifying industry trends and delivering actionable insights to inform product development innovation and gotomarket strategies. You will collaborate closely with crossfunctional teams including Product Managers Data Analysts Engineering and Marketing to enhance our platforms market positioning and ensure we remain competitive in a fastevolving landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
Competitive Research & Analysis:
Conduct indepth competitive research to monitor trends offerings and strategies of key players in the loyalty platform market.
Analyse competitors product features pricing models customer experience and unique selling points.
Track the latest technological advancements industry shifts and emerging trends in loyalty programs customer engagement and retention strategies.
Provide regular reports on competitive intelligence highlighting areas of opportunity risk and differentiation for our platform.
Market Positioning & Product Strategy:
Work closely with the product and strategy teams to translate competitive insights into actionable product strategies.
Help define our platforms positioning in comparison to key competitors ensuring our solution offers unique value to target audiences.
Contribute to the prioritization of new features and enhancements based on competitive dynamics and customer needs.
Stakeholder Collaboration & Communication:
Engage with internal stakeholders (Product Sales Marketing Customer Success etc.) to ensure alignment between competitive analysis and overall product vision.
Present insights analysis and recommendations in a clear actionable manner to executive leadership crossfunctional teams and partners.
Lead discussions on product gaps opportunities for differentiation and evolving industry standards.
Customer and Industry Insights:
Analyse customer feedback pain points and usage patterns to identify areas where our platform can outperform competitors.
Keep abreast of customer sentiment and market needs leveraging industry reports surveys and direct customer interactions to stay informed.
Continuous Improvement:
Monitor and measure the impact of competitive analysis on product development and business outcomes and refine approaches based on results.
Stay up to date with industry conferences webinars and relevant forums to keep your competitive knowledge fresh.
Qualifications:
Experience:
10 years of experience in product management product strategy competitive intelligence or a related field. Experience in the loyalty platform or customer engagement space is preferred.
Experience working with crossfunctional teams including product sales and marketing.
Proven track record of delivering strategic insights that drive product innovation and competitive advantage.
Skills & Knowledge:
Strong analytical and research skills with the ability to synthesize large amounts of data into actionable insights.
Familiarity with market research tools and methodologies.
Solid understanding of the loyalty platform space including key trends challenges and technological innovations.
Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to communicate complex insights to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Business Marketing Product Management or a related field.
MBA or other advanced degrees are a plus but not required.
