Job Description
Experience needed for this role and why: Workday Extend is a very specific skillset candidates without the proper experience in Workday Extend in HR implementations wont be considered.
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
Design develop and implement custom applications and extensions using Workday Extend.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Work closely with Workday functional teams to ensure seamless integration of custom solutions.
Participate in Agile ceremonies such as daily standups sprint planning and retrospectives.
Develop and maintain technical documentation including design specifications test plans and user guides.
Perform unit testing and support user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure the quality and functionality of custom solutions.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to custom applications and extensions.
Stay uptodate with Workday updates and new features to continuously improve and optimize custom solutions.
Provide ongoing support and maintenance for deployed applications and extensions.
Qualifications:
Minimum of three years of experience in Workday Extend development.
Good understanding of Workday architecture and integration capabilities.
Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript XML and XSLT.
Experience working in an Agile environment and familiarity with Agile methodologies.
Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
Workday certification in Extend or other relevant areas.
Experience with Workday Studio
Knowledge of HR processes and systems.
Familiarity with REST and SOAP APIs.
