Job Title: Oracle Database Performance Engineer(10 plus years of exp)

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualification
Required Qualifications: - Proven experience in analyzing and evaluating application performance across multiple tiers.
- Expertise in identifying and implementing solutions for performance and scalability bottlenecks.
- Handson experience with Oracle wait interface and event analysis.
- Strong background in performance tuning of large Oracle databases in AWS (50 TB).
- Experience with large Oracle Exadata databases and clusters.
- Proficiency in tuning singlenode nonExadata databases.
- Proficiency in Linux shell scripting SQL tuning and session tracing.
- Experience in generating and analyzing AWR ASH and ADDM reports.
- Expertise in Oracle AWR raw data analysis and interpretation.
- Ability to extrapolate system behavior under representative load conditions to predict performance under full load/stress scenarios.
- Strong communication skills to present complex results analysis and metrics to technical and nontechnical audiences.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot performance bottlenecks and system issues.
- Indepth knowledge of Oracle internals related to database performance.
- Understanding of application behavior performance and interaction patterns with databases in relation to performance and scalability.
- Experience in extrapolating application and data tier metrics to explain system behavior.
- Strong technical writing and diagramming skills including proficiency in tools such as Visio Erwin Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint) and MS Project.
- Ability to work with multiple teams concurrently prioritize tasks and ensure timely highquality project delivery.
Preferred Qualifications: - Experience working in an Agile sprint team environment.
- Handson experience with JIRA software.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems Business or equivalent experience.
- Prior experience working with an HHS (Health and Human Services) agency.
- Experience handling PII (Personally Identifiable Information) or PHI (Protected Health Information) data.
- Knowledge of HL7 data standards.
- Previous experience in the healthcare industry.
Responsibilities: - Analyze and evaluate application performance across multiple tiers and identify performance issues.
- Diagnose and implement solutions for performance and scalability bottlenecks in Oracle databases.
- Conduct Oracle wait interface analysis and event monitoring.
- Optimize large Oracle databases (50 TB) in AWS and Exadata environments.
- Tune and troubleshoot singlenode nonExadata database performance.
- Perform advanced SQL tuning session tracing and Linux shell scripting.
- Generate analyze and interpret AWR ASH and ADDM reports.
- Conduct raw AWR data analysis to provide insights into database performance.
- Predict system performance under stress by extrapolating representative load conditions.
- Present complex performance analysis findings to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
- Troubleshoot performance bottlenecks and work with crossfunctional teams to resolve issues.
- Provide insights into Oracle internals affecting database performance.
- Analyze application behavior and its interaction with databases to optimize system performance.
- Use application and data tier metrics to explain system trends and behavior.
- Develop technical documentation diagrams and performance reports using tools such as Visio Erwin and MS Office.
- Collaborate with multiple teams to prioritize work effectively and ensure timely project delivery.
