SUMMARY:
Responsible for end to end Inventory Management in the Supply Chain from Material Planning Scheduling Inventory Control and Management Suppliercoordination Logistics Order management and ensure Ontime deliveries to Customer. Budget & Expense Management. Final Export Packaging including design & development. Continuous improvement & Cost Reduction. Manpower management. Manage the above for 3 business units Plant (100% EOU) Customization Center & the Parts Distribution Centre. To set Goals & Objectives and have a clear Plan and work towards accomplishing the functional KPIs and Yearly Objectives in line with the organizational/plant level goals/scorecards.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS*:
To efficiently integrate supply and demand management by acting as key coordinator between Indianapolis India plant and suppliers and end Customers.
To lead the India Global Supply Chain team in the material planning logistics & warehouse management activities and aim to minimize the supply chain inefficiencies.
Capacity planning & MRP planning.
Develop strong Planning and Logistics processes and systems which results in minimizing supply chain inefficiencies.
To handle material movement stock reconciliation & analysis material control. Must know ERP(say SAP) stores systems BOM structure & Routing.
Close followup & coordination with Purchase SupplierQuality Plant Quality Production Assembly & Logistics etc. to ensure availability of material on time for production and also to release schedule of production plan
To manage and collaborate with channel partners such as logistics service providers intermediaries thirdparty service providers and internal customers.
Responsible for Budget planning Budget vs Expense monitoring Sales Revenue forecasting Inventory forecasting.
Vendor performance tracking and improving the delivery times.
Manage the RTV (Return to Vendor)/DMR process.
Keep inventory within the expected target
Maintain Inventory Accuracy by conducting regular Cyclecount and demonstrate nil variance during external Stock Audits or Compliance Audits and implement best practices to minimize inventory discrepancies
To explore all opportunities in reducing costs in the Supply chain.
Design development Procurement of Export packaging sourcing vendors for all packing materials and consumables negotiating for competitive prices value Reengineering etc.
Implementation and sustenance of best manufacturing and supply chain practices
To ensure synchronization of the planning process with the Business Planning Cycle.
Interface/Liaise with External Customers Suppliers and Agencies including Statutory Bodies Shipping Lines CHAs Transporters other logistics service providers etc.
Ensure Ontime Delivery to Customer monitor and report customer delivery performance
Ensure systems and processes are set as appropriate in every function in the Stores & Warehouse Management Material Handling and handle Procurement per EOU Procedure
To guide coach and mentor India Global Supply Chain team to achieve the KPIs and meet the Deliverables.
To find ways and opportunities for Continuous improvement Cost reduction and process improvement in the supply chain process falling under purview of India Global Supply Chain

EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:
Any fulltime degree with a Post Graduate Degree/Diploma in Business Management/Administration from a reputed institution.
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
REQUIRED:
12 15 years in the manufacturing industry.
Expertise in Supply Chain Management Logistics Packaging
Experience in Imports and Exports
Exposure to SAP (ERP Systems)
Good Communication & negotiation skills along with strong leadership skills.
PREFERRED:
Exposure to best supply Chain practices Manufacturing and Quality Systems
Multiskilled & ready to take up any new challenging & diverse tasks.
Certification in Supply Chain Management or related subject from a national/Internationally accredited certification agency
Exposure in working in a global working environment & MNC & an Export Oriented Unit
