Job Description
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
-
- Demonstrated support on a critical mainframe environment using COBOL DB2 CICS JCL MQSeries SQL and VSAM files as well as Easytrieve
- Experience in mainframe performance tuning and capacity planning including ways to reduce I/Os CPU Time MSUs and MIPs using Strobe iStrobe and Platinum Detector
- Experience in navigating in an Oracle database environment for triage purposes
- File format and comparison using FileAID; version management using Endeavor; debugging and unit testing using Intertest and AbendAID; and job scheduling using ControlM
- Ability to debug and reproduce issues in lower preproduction environments
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a dynamic work environment while meeting results
- While not required knowledge of ETL Informatica Java Python or other distributed languages is a plus
The Expertise and Skills You Bring:

- A Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Information Technology or equivalent experience
- 6 years of proven ability in mainframe development and support
- Experience working in a scaled agile delivery model
- Investment/financial services experience is highly desired
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Prior experience working with development teams in onshoreoffshore model
