Job Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook breakfast dishes to the highest standard ensuring consistency and quality in every plate served.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop innovative breakfast menus that align with our commitment to local and seasonal produce.
- Source ingredients from local suppliers and our kitchen garden including foraging from local hedgerows and woodlands.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen space adhering to health and safety regulations and ensuring food hygiene standards are met.
- Assist in inventory management including ordering and restocking supplies as needed.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative kitchen environment fostering teamwork and communication among staff.
- Participate in training and development initiatives to improve skills and kitchen operations.
Essential Qualifications
- Proven experience as a chef specifically in preparing breakfast dishes or a similar role in a hotel or hospitality setting.
- Formal culinary training or relevant certification is preferred.
- A passion for sustainable cooking and dedication to using fresh local ingredients.
- Strong knowledge of food hygiene practices and health and safety regulations.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fastpaced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
Desired Experience
- Experience working in a hotel kitchen or fine dining establishment is an advantage.
- Familiarity with ecofriendly practices and sustainable hospitality is desirable.
- Previous experience collaborating with local suppliers and farmers to source ingredients.

- Salary Range: £30000 £32000 per annum.
