As a Warehouse Procurement Expert you lead procurement and renegotiation activities from initiation to contract finalization for regionally owned Warehouse related contracts in close collaboration with key local regional and global stakeholders to attain the best possible Warehouse related suppliers and contracts in the Logistics Region.
Key responsibilities
- Responsible to execute regionally led procurement and renegotiation activities from initiation to bid evaluation supplier selection and contract finalization in close collaboration with key stakeholders and inline with agreed centralregionallocal responsibility splits and thresholds.
- Secure that procurement is done in line with defined operational and commercial goals and Warehouse related Category Strategies (e.g. sustainability goals operational SLAs Facility guidelines etc.).
- Responsible to ensure that key local regional and central stakeholders are involved in procurement process to define goals & strategy business needs risks also assessing new and existing suppliers evaluating offers and enabling decision making.
- Act as center of excellence for procurement continuously developing toolsets guidelines templates and trainings to strengthen compliance knowledge level and skills within the Regional Organization.
- Provide support towards local warehouse teams in locally driven procurement initiatives.
- Collaborate with central commercial and regional Contract Managers to identify and implement the most optimal procurement negotiation and commercial strategy in the Logistics Region.
- Responsible for presenting the outcome of the procurement process and recommend the best deal.
- Responsible to follow central and regional governance process according to agreed thresholds and approval rights.
- Ensure that market analysis benchmarking and duediligence are part of procurement process and secure followup on the outcome of procurement process over time.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies processes ethical standards and regulatory requirements.
- Define needs and constantly improve procurement tools to streamline processes maintaining accurate records and improving benchmarking and transparency.
- Actively stay uptodate on global logistics endtoend operational status KPIs issues and risks
- Identify sustainability opportunities and challenges from a social economic and environmental perspective.
Qualifications :
- Deep expertise and proven experience in procurement and negotiation for Logistics related services and processes also providing good understanding of global standards and local legislations.
- Good ability to collaborate interact and navigate with central regional and local teams and stakeholders both internally and externally with all level of seniority.
- Strong understanding of logistics supplier requirements as well as compliance sustainability and performance criterias.
- Good analytical and financial knowledge consistently focusing on driving customer value and improving profitability to generate business value.
- Experienced in tender management (administrating/managing RFQ/RFI processes under time pressure).
- Ability to independently draft and present deliverables recommendations and communications strategies.
- Strong strategic and analytical mindset including ability to plan prioritize and manage high numbers of tasks with varying workload and importance.
- Strategic logistics and supply chain experience and sound understanding of operational processes.
- Good in communicating clear and brief sets the right priorities

This is a fulltime position starting as soon as possible with direct reporting line to the Regional Warehouse Commercial Manager.
