You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe Energy Management business unit in Statkraft is responsible for the physical optimization of more than 11000 MW of hydropower 15000 MW of wind power and a consumer portfolio of more than 65 TWh/year. The unit consist of more than 150 highly skilled employees located in Oslo Trondheim and Dsseldorf who all work in an integrated energy management process consisting of water weather and climate market analysis production planning and physical power trading.
The Water Weather and Climate team in Statkraft provides meteorological and hydrological analysis data and algorithms to a wide range of uses in Statkraft from operational production planning to climate assessments and valuations of power plants. To strengthen our capability both with regards to competence and capacity we are looking for a passionate Data Scientist to join the team.
In this role your responsibilities will include developing and delivering excellent analysis and data on meteorology and hydrology to our users around the world.
