Department – Commercial GBS

The position
As an Associate Director in Commercial GBS you will lead and execute strategic and tactical initiatives in support of the strategic priorities projects portfolio and mission of the Obesity therapy area team. Oversee strategic direction and ambition facilitating multidisciplinary collaborations in areas such as Marketing communication Access (VSPE & HEOR) commercial project management and insights. You will also be entrusted with the below responsibilities:
- Partner closely with the HQ Obesity Leadership team to drive decisionmaking and alignment with business strategy. Influence stakeholders’ perceptions to support new strategic initiatives and solutions.
- Develop and implement a people strategy for the team including attraction recruitment and retention. Manage the tactical and operational needs of the team including direct people management team health rotation talent development and capacity planning.
- Lead continuous implementation of selected Life Cycle Management (LCM) strategies. Lead global marketing teams for LCM brands and develop communication strategies for disease awareness.
- Develop communicate and implement a global tactical plan. Effectively communicate HEOR VSPE Insights and projects across the organization.
- Manage the Insights Team GBS budget including annual budget process & forecasting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or master's degree or equivalent in relevant area with 15 years in pharmaceutical marketing/commercial strategy and analytics.
- Prior experience in the Pharma/Healthcare industry particularly in commercial strategy/consulting.
- Familiarity with therapeutic areas such as Diabetes Obesity and Other Serious Chronic Diseases.
- 7 years of management experience with a proven track record in a global and/or regional environment.
- Excellent planning and organizational development skills.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to make datadriven and factbased decisions.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to coordinate and prioritize resources to ensure time and quality compliance.
- Proven ability to energize develop and build rapport at all levels within an organization and work effectively in a matrix environment.
