Job Description
We are seeking an Industrial Engineer with a strong background in data transformation to drive process improvements optimize production workflows and enable datadriven decisionmaking. This role involves collaborating with crossfunctional teams to leverage data for increased efficiency reduced costs and enhanced operational insights across our manufacturing operations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Data Collection & Transformation: Design and implement data collection processes within manufacturing operations ensuring data is accurate accessible and usable for analysis.
- Process Optimization: Utilize statistical analysis simulation and lean manufacturing principles to analyze current processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Crossfunctional Collaboration: Work closely with IT production and engineering teams to translate raw data into actionable insights and automated reporting systems.
- System Integration: Collaborate with software and IT teams to integrate data from MES system into a centralized analytics platform.
- Predictive Modeling: Develop predictive models to identify potential issues and optimize production schedules inventory levels and supply chain efficiency.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive the development and implementation of continuous improvement projects focusing on datadriven insights to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Qualifications :
REQUIRED:
- Bachelors degree in industrial engineering Data Science Operations Research or related field.
- 3 years of experience in industrial engineering with a focus on data analysis and transformation.
- Proficiency in data analytics tools (e.g. SQL Python) and experience with MES systems.
- Strong problemsolving skills with experience in Lean Six Sigma or similar methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating across technical and nontechnical teams.
PREFERRED:
- Experience in a manufacturing environment with exposure to ERP and MES systems.
- Experience in a capacity planning and supply chain planning in a manufacturing environment
SKILLS:
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in data analytics tools (e.g. SQL Python) and experience with ERP or MES systems.
- Analytical Skills: Strong problemsolving skills with experience in Lean Six Sigma or similar methodologies.
- Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks to meet business objectives.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for collaborating across technical and nontechnical teams.
- Visualization: Experience with visualization tools (e.g. Power BI) to create reports and dashboards.
