About The Role
Our HR team is the heart and soul of the company s talent strategy branding outreach acquisition motivation compensation evaluation rewards promotions training and retention. This is the team that articulates our talent strategy and takes steps takes in implementing it in order to anticipate and meet the needs for hiring and retaining high quality talent across our operations.
This role requires capacity to create a coherent HR strategy and organization that is aligned with the companys goals and financial capacity while also avoiding conditions for discontent among hired staff.
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Officer (Talent Acquisition Specialist) to join our dynamic team at the company. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned HR professional with a proven track record in managing diverse HR functions. This role will play a crucial part in fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture implementing effective HR policies and supporting the growth of our talented team. You must have a specialization in Talent Acquisiton via direct outreach e.g. via LinkedIn and other broad mass acquisition channels and must be able to use ATS to track and report on the recruiting process. Must be familiar with Google Office Suite and able to prepare and present HR & Recruitment reports professionally to management.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Talent Acquisition and Recruitment:
Lead the endtoend recruitment process including sourcing screening interviewing and onboarding of new employees must be able to show capacity for headhunting using LinkedIn filters
Collaborate with department heads to understand staffing needs and ensure the timely filling of open positions.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with external recruitment agencies.
2. Employee Relations:
Act as a trusted advisor to employees and management providing guidance on HR policies procedures and best practices.
Handle employee relations matters including conflict resolution disciplinary actions and performance improvement plans.
Conduct regular checkins and exit interviews to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement.
3. Training and Development:
Implement and oversee employee training and development programs to enhance skills and promote professional growth.
Identify training needs and collaborate with department heads to create customized development plans.
4. HR Policy Development and Compliance:
Develop and update HR policies in compliance with relevant labor laws and regulations.
Stay informed about changes in employment legislation and ensure company policies remain current and in compliance.
5. Performance Management:
Administer the performance management process including goal setting performance reviews and recognition programs.
Work with managers to address performance issues and implement performance improvement plans.
6. Employee Engagement:
Develop and implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement satisfaction and retention.
Organize and participate in employee engagement activities and events.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or a related field.
- 5 years of proven experience in human resources management.
- Strong knowledge of local labor laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Able to use Google Office Suite proficiently
- Strong HR analytics capacity
